Last Updated: Feb 2021

Following security experts recommendations that TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 be deprecated on servers, in March 2019, QuotaGuard no longer supported TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1.

Currently, our QuotaGuard Static service Inbound proxy service only accepts TLS1.2.

Our QuotaGuard Shield service offers outbound HTTPS proxy service and outbound Secure SOCKS service, which both utilize TLS1.2.

Additionally, the QuotaGuard Shield service offers inbound proxy service using SSL Passthrough, which means the protocol version is up to the remote server to determine.
